{"id":579,"date":"2019-04-01T09:49:16","date_gmt":"2019-04-01T09:49:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ventureasy.com\/blog\/?p=579"},"modified":"2019-06-28T14:01:15","modified_gmt":"2019-06-28T14:01:15","slug":"updation-of-kyc-of-directors-in-form-dir-3-kyc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ventureasy.com\/blog\/updation-of-kyc-of-directors-in-form-dir-3-kyc\/","title":{"rendered":"DIR-3 KYC Form to Update DIN \/ KYC of Directors"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Every Director who has been allotted DIN on or before the end of the financial year, and whose DIN status is \u2018Approved\u2019, would be mandatorily required to file form <strong>DIR-3 KYC<\/strong> before 30th April of the immediately next financial year.<\/div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div>\n<hr \/>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><em>The eForm should be certified by a practicing Chartered Accountant or Company Secretary or Cost and Management Accountant.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Subsequently, submission of KYC details through Form DIR-3 KYC would be annual process to be completed by the director within 30th April of immediately next Financial Year.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Documents Required:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Name (as per PAN database)<\/li>\n<li>Father\u2019s Name (as per PAN database)<\/li>\n<li>PAN of the Director (mandatory for citizens of India)<\/li>\n<li>Date of Birth (DoB)\u201d (as per PAN database)<\/li>\n<li>Personal Mobile number and Personal Email Address<\/li>\n<li>Proof of Present Address such as Bank Statement or any Utility Bill in the name of the director with the correct address, not more than 2 months old.<\/li>\n<li>Aadhaar is mandatory, if it is assigned. If not, then Voter ID or Passport or Driving Licence shall be attached.<\/li>\n<li>Digital Signature of Director (Rs 800\u00a0will be requested\u00a0if DSC is not available or DSC has expired)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Consequences of Non-filing<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Deactivation of DIN<\/b>: Non-filing of DIR-3 KYC within the prescribed timeline, would result in Deactivation of the DIN by the Ministry. The same will be re-activated only on payment of specified fee.\u00a0The deactivated DIN\u2019s can be reactivated after the Due Date on payment of a penalty of Rs 5000.<\/p>\n<p><b>Other penal Action:<\/b>\u00a0Failure to file DIR-3 KYC form within the prescribed timelines might also lead to enforcement of penal action against Directors.<br \/>\nPlease note that the Penal Action would be enforced irrespective of the fact that DIN is reactivated after payment of specified fee.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>VenturEasy can help you with <strong>DIR-3 KYC<\/strong> compliance.
